Recipe: Turmeric Smoothie...

Dearest Friends,
I've recently been drinking turmeric smoothies and am hooked. Click this link to learn more about the spice benefits. It's early into the new year but i'm already in the midst of trying out some new health and wellness programs (i.e. apple cidar vinegar shots), looking forward to sharing them all with you!

Turmeric Smoothie adapted from Balance with B

1/2 cup frozen mango
1 frozen banana
1 cup almond or coconut milk
2-3 dates (remove pits)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 teaspoons ground turmeric
optional: 1 teaspoon ground ginger (or fresh- grated)

Add the dairy free milk, frozen mangos, frozen bananas, dates, cinnamon, ginger, and turmeric in a blender. Blend on high for 1 minute.
